Join us for a two-day intensive of barre education to elevate and upscale your classes. Friday October 21 and Saturday October 22, 2022.
Ten (10) 90 minute sessions over 2 days.  Only 100 spaces available for this IN PERSON event.  This will not be recorded. Credits: 1.5 ACE, 10 AFAA and 1.0 NASM

801 Ultimate Upper Body Barre with Tricia Murphy Madden Upper body is important piece of a total body workout and class design for this part of the body is key. In this workshop you will learn a system for creating incredible upper body workouts with handled tubing, bodyweight, flat band and more. Endless ideas coming your way!

802 Barre Hard Core with Lauren George Legs may get all the glory in a barre class but do you know what part of your body is the real winner? YOUR CORE! Barres focus on balance, core stability, and maintaining a neutral pelvis, make it a killer core workout from start to finish without requiring a single crunch. In this workshop, we will explore innovative standing and floor core barre exercises to help improve posture, strengthen your core from 360 degrees, and prevent injury in common barre postures!

803 Barre For Athletes with Lauren George Serious athletes take cross-training seriously! Between engaging often forgotten muscle groups, strengthening the core, improving balance, increasing flexibility, and improving coordination, barre is the cross-training total package. In this workshop, we will explore how to help athletes (professional and weekend warriors) feel comfortable stepping into a barre class and how we can design programming that will help them take their training to the next level! Walk away with a toolbox full of new choreography and marketing ideas.

810 Totally Tubular Barre with Lauren George Ready to spice up your barre classes? Grab a piece of tubing and get ready to party! Resistance bands can help you recruit more muscle fibers and make your barre classes even more effective by challenging muscles during both the concentric and eccentric phase of movements. In this workshop, we will explore how to harness the power of resistance bands in your barre class, use different anchor points to create variety, and creatively put together movement patterns to increase the flow of class.

This event will be run alongside the Music City FitCon at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, TN.  You will have the opportunity to shop the trade show Friday and Saturday of the event and network with other instructors in the industry at the Friday Night Party.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS! I understand that if I cannot attend the conference, I may transfer my registration to another individual for a $50.00 processing fee. In the event of a medical emergency or death in the family, I can receive a credit for my registration towards a future Fitness Conventions Inc. Event.  The credit will be issued, less a $50.00 processing fee. (Both a transfer and a credit require that written notification by postal mail is received by 9/15/22.
