Abbie Appel is the owner of APS Appel Programming Solutions and AbbieFit Consulting. As an award-winning fitness educator and group fitness programming expert, Abbie develops and delivers programs for Schwinn Cycling, TRX Training and many other organizations.  She developed the SCW Pilates and SCW Barre Certifications and has produced and starred in over 50 fitness videos.  Abbie contributes to fitness publications such as Self, Shape, Prevention and IDEA Journal and is certified by ACE, AFAA and NASM.
Lauren George is the Co-Creator of the Enhanced Barre Above Program, owner of Clemson Fitness Company, adjunct faculty for Clemson University and a Master Trainer for Balletone. She has had a love for movement since a young age and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University and Master’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from University of North Texas. She was named EMPOWER! Fusion Education Partner of the Year in 2018. Lauren has had the pleasure of leading the group fitness programs at The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, Florida State University, and Todd Pilates and Fitness. Most of all, Lauren is passionate about helping participants understand that fitness can be FUN!
Tanya Becker co-founded Physique 57 a boutique fitness and media company in 2006 and expanded the business to four countries and multiple digital platforms with clients and subscribers in all 50 states and over 120 countries. Physique 57 continues to grow it’s US and international community.
As Chief Creative Officer, Tanya is responsible for ideation and strategy for the business growth opportunities, oversight of social media content, video on demand production, and barre certification program.
Tanya regularly appears in health and fitness segments on national tv including QVC, HSN, The Today Show, Martha Stewart Show, and Dr. Oz. She has been featured in Vogue, Shape, Redbook, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, and People Magazine and has been a guest speaker at Stanford University and Columbia. She holds a personal trainer certification with American Council on Exercise. She was recently featured presenter at the World Barre Summit and continues to teach on a variety of digital platforms.
Alex McLean has been teaching group fitness since 1995. He started as a dancer and master class presenter for the Reebok Performance Team and Nike Culture Shock, and is currently an educator for multiple world-class brands, including Schwinn® Cycling, Stairmaster® and Balanced Body®. He has appeared in video and print projects for TRX® and Under Armour®. As a professional dancer and acrobat, Alex danced with LeAnn Rimes, Disney, Universal Studios and the NBA/WNBA. Certifications: ACE, AFAA, NASM

Kerrie Melissaratos was born in Southern California but was raised in Bangkok, Thailand from ages 4 to 19. Kerrie graduated from CalArts with a BFA in Dance/Choreography and a minor in Psychology. She has danced professionally in both New York and California. She moved to New York in 2015 and began working with Physique 57 the same year. She joined the Master Training team in 2017, and since then has had the pleasure to guide, challenge and nurture new hires through the intense training process. She also is the Production Coordinator for Physique57’s fast growing worldwide Video on Demand platform. Kerrie believes in the power of motivation. Anyone who takes her class, she promises to push you from a place of love. She believes that you have the strength within; it’s your mind that scares you! A quote she lives by is – “Change begins at the end of your comfort zone!”

Tricia Murphy Madden is a 29-year industry veteran and 2021 IDEA Fitness Leader Of The Year.  Tricia is the National Education Director for Savvier Fitness and the co-creator of Barre Above with over 85 master trainers and over 5600 trained instructors worldwide. She is the co-author and creator of a children’s book and fitness program called, The ABC’s of Exercise sold worldwide. Tricia sits on the IDEA Group Fitness Committee and is known for her numerous programs developed over the past 29 years.
